Children & Families

We have a variety of activities for children from the age of 0 right up to 11. All of our activities focus on our commitment to see our children thrive. We also offer support to parents and families who are working to grow the Christian faith within the home.

This ministry is led by our Youth, Children and Families Worker, Chris Willis.

Blu Kids

Fridays, 6.30pm to 8pm

Most Fridays during term time, we run an exciting kids and youth club filled with sports, crafts, games, and more, for all children in school years 3-6. Part of this time slot is also shared with our Blu Sevens and Blu Youth groups.

We run occasional special sessions including film nights, Christmas parties, team challenges, and other creative ideas.

Each week we have a short thought for the week, about 10 minute long, where we aim to share a particular value from the Bible, while keeping it short, interactive, and engaging for everyone.

Moonbeams2

Sunday for kids

10.30am to 12noon

We have children’s groups for those aged 0 to 11 years, using a mixture of videos, games, music and crafts, to explore stories and themes within the Bible.

Children spend the first 30 minutes worshipping with the whole church in our service and then go to their groups. Please accompany your children downstairs so you can register them.

The last Sunday of each month is an All Age Worship, where children and adults stay together for the whole service.

Babies and toddlers are welcome in our services if they do not want to join the children's groups. We have toys available to play with and we don’t mind if they make a noise.

We want to see our young people thrive in our church community. We offer a midweek programme of activities, including Pre-school education, as they grow from the age of 0 to 18.
