Children & Families

We are committed to seeing our children thrive, from the age of 0 right up to 11, when they join our youth programme. Our pre-school and dedicated programme of activities offers support for family life and aims to see our little ones grow in their Christian faith. This ministry is led by our Youth, Children and Families Worker, Chris Willis.

Blu Kids

Fridays, 6.30pm to 8pm

Every Friday during term time, we meet for different kinds of activities. This includes sports, craft, games, film nights, and much more! The first half hour is just for the kids, from 7pm to 8pm the space is shared with Blu Youth. We have a tuck shop every week.

Each week we have a short thought for the week, aiming at about 10 minute long, where we will shine a spotlight on the gospel of Jesus Christ, through stories, interactive activities, and thought provoking questions aimed at our Blu Kids.

Wednesdays 10 - 11.30am, term time only

Moonbeams is our free parent and toddler group.

We aim to provide a welcoming, supportive and safe environment for you and your children. There are a variety of toys to play with, song time and story time. Tea and coffee are served throughout the morning and a snack and drink are provided for childre midway through the morning.

Moonbeams is a popular group and we often have a waiting list. Please contact the church office to check availability.

Sunday for kids

10.30am to 12noon

We have children’s groups for those aged 0 to 11 years, using a mixture of videos, games, music and crafts, to explore stories and themes within the Bible.

Children spend the first 30 minutes worshipping with the whole church in our service and then go to their groups. Please accompany your children downstairs so you can register them.

The last Sunday of each month is an All Age Worship, where children and adults stay together for the whole service.

Babies and toddlers are welcome in our services if they do not want to join the children's groups. We have toys available to play with and we don’t mind if they make a noise.

We want to see our young people thrive in our church community. We offer a midweek programme of activities, including Pre-school education, as they grow from the age of 0 to 18.
